We found out about 2-3 weeks ago that my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and we found out about a week and a half ago that it had spread into her lymph system. My mom has always said I was the strongest in the family and I talked her into getting a tattoo after she finishes her Chemo and Radiation

She wants to just get the pink ribbon, but I want to do something bigger on my right calf. I just can't think of anything that symbolizes strength, that would also be appropriate. Since my mom is fairly religious, and I am finding my faith again, I thought that a pair of angels would look good. I'm just at such a loss for creativity right now.

    Any suggestions at all?

How about two angels flying/crossing each other with the pink bow? Im sure you can work an awfully nice picture of two angels holding a ribbon between them.

That would be pretty damn cool. With just the ribbon being pink it would look nice. why no color?

I'm so fair skinned anyways, that I think color just jumps out too much. If I was going to get any color, I would want it to be dark (blues, reds, greens)

maybe black and grey angles holding up a (light pink) ribbon somehow. having fair skin can be a blessing and a curse. - it makes blacks and vibrant colors stand out like you mention but also allows you the opportunity to use colors that most cannot... just an idea - its your leg and its what you and your mom decide. just thought id throw my two cents worth out also being very fair skinned.

i realize that its a ornament or something but given to a decent artist they could come up with something pretty cool id imagine
