circ polarizers aren't usually recommended for superwide angle lenses like the 10-20mm. Especially when you need the 77mm size for that lens. But hey its up to you.

I bought a 67mm Hoya Pro1 on Ebay for I think $73 shipped. I'm very happy with it. Put it on my Tamron 17-50. Yours is a little wider, but the Hoya Pro1 is so thin I couldn't imagine it vingetting at all.

    hmm

I ordered it last night. We'll see what happens when it gets here.

If it does that I can always get a step up ring and use it on my 70-200

hows the quality on that lens? i'm looking for a wide like that and the canon 10-22 is too expensive right now and i'd prefer a f/2.8 but no one makes one

To be completely honest with you it's a piece of shit. The hsm started making noise after about a month. The af is totally fucked up. It hunts real bad unless you are like a foot from something.

I usually just leave the focus at infinity, and I have the * button set as af so it doesn't move.

I really wish I had bought the canon. But they weren't in stock when I bought this.

yeah you won't be able to use the polarizer until like 16 or 18mms or so. i used a neutral density filter on my 12-24 once and is fucked up at anything less than that

Just curious, if you hate the lens so much why not sell it and buy the Canon 10-22 and wait to get a CP?

How is the IQ? Everything you mentioned that was wrong with it had to do with focusing.

It's pretty sharp in the middle. The extreme edges are obviosly going to be shit because of the type of lens it is.

I could post a sample if you want. Or just go to my website. The majority of the images there are from it.

I don't want to sell it because I probably wouldnt get much for it.
