I want to buy a mac.....

    Im at a crossroad. I want a new computer. I was looking at Mac. I want the best and fastest one thats available. Which is.....? Never had a Mac but everybody swears by them. Laptop or Desktop?

    photoshop, video editing, OT, stuff like that. Are they good for this? Can you run Office on a mac?

    yes, you can also run windows on a mac. get a macbook pro they start @ 2000 for desktop get a mac pro they have 2 quad core processors, pretty crzy shits.

    Windows and OSX have their purposes...
    you decide if it's better...

    personally, everything i can do on a windows box I can do on my OSX machine, i prefer OSX...

    Are you sure you can afford it? :naughty: It can get pricey.
     
  11. :werd: The "best and fastest" Mac Pro would cost many thousands of dollars. The twin 3.2GHz processors alone bring the price of the standard configuration up over $4,000. Add in more RAM (even if you don't buy it from Apple) and some big, fast hard drives, and you're easily up to $7k+
