I have a Glock 26, but I don't think it is effective enough. I want something with so much stopping power it knocks the perp off their feet that is easy to conceal.

What do you guys think? Suggestions?

    shot placement > calibre

IMO a DE for personal protection is a horrible idea.

    It's good if you're a bit :greddy:

Really, if you want stopping power, nothing smaller than 20mm. You may have to change how you dress to conceal it, but thats how it goes.

like, [IMG] looks good until you see this:

[IMG] which also looks good, until you see it next to the 20mm.

Thats a man stopper right there.

Then why are they in all the movies? Apparently someone thinks they are a decent firearm for defensive purposes.

You could carry it in a briefcase with a trigger in the handle

Hi welcome to WoMD, it appears you are a noob and we may have more experience than you. Would you like some advice from us on better choices?

I personally like the jeweled tiger stripe, it adds fashion accessory with 80's flare.

I guess in a pinch a 20mm would do, but most of the time I'm not comfortable without at least one AC-130 following me around overhead.

Well, which is better for concealed carry, DE.50 or a SOCOM?

How about a glock 26? They're a good size for concealed carry.

But it lacks the stopping power which the 50AE has, I've seen the videos of the bullets knocking people over.

:hs:mith, I know that when you are bored you resort to trolling, but do you have to troll WMD? We sort of like that there aren't many real trolls with staying power... we really don't need people trolling just out of boredom.

You mean I can't poke fun at people asking if a FiveseveN is a great gun for home defents?

just google desert eagle concealed carry for instant lol's

  21. I'm tyring to decide between the .50AE and 5.7x28 rounds for home defense. I know the .50 is way more powerful, but I can fit more 5.7 in a gun, and I'm not very accurate, so I'm afraid of running out of .50. I can spray 5.7 all around and hopefully I hit the bad guy a few times. Still, I'm not totally sure. I've seen the FiveseveN in some video games, but I've seen the DE in lots of rap videos.
