i want an older bike..

    i dont know to much about bikes but ive been looking into getting an older one like an 80s style bike i guess? i dont want anything fast to learn on and ill probably rebuild it.. anyone have any ideas?

    forgot what yamaha used to have.


    just look on craigslist, sort for bikes under 1000 and there will be tons of bikes like that

    i want something that has a lot of aftermarket support so i can rebuild or build it up..i dont know all that much about bikes but id like to get into them :dunno:

    i know of an 82 nighthawk with 14k on the odo, looks great. guy might be willing to get rid of it for the right price.

    I just bought a 92 with 23k on it. A little bit more miles than what I wanted, but it looked to be in really, really good shape.

    I think that guy lives in Cali. I want to build something similar out of a 78 CM400 asap :bowdown:

    x2... I've got a 73 cb500, its a great simple bike and theirs plenty of info on the sohc bikes out there on the net, and once your confident on it you can cafe' it.
