I am looking for an older video camera that records to digital for around $150 or less. I'm going to use it for a helmet-cam setup and just need something that works. Most of the videos will be put on the net so quality doesn't have do be amazing, but I would like something fairly nice.

Can anyone think of a good 2-3 year old model that was the shit back in it's day and is affordable now? I'd rather stick close to Canon but any other suggestion would be great.

don't they make smaller camera's that are made for going on a helmet? i'm assuming by your av that your trying to make a video of you riding a bike, and i can't imagine strapping your average mini-dv camera to a helmet.

Why not? The "helmet cams" most people sell only do 640x480 at 30fps, no thanks.

Watching anything from a helmet cam makes me dizzy. :wtc:
