Can anyone help me? I never take any supplements or anything like that. No idea what to buy or where to look.

If you can find something that has glucosamine and chondroitin. Also the higher the dosage the better mg wise. It will help but give it time dont expect your joints to be like butter. For how cheap it is, its a good product to take.

Is there any evidence at all that supports that this stuff works?

I took it in large doses for 2 yrs and got no positive results and have never seen any proof that it works. :(

    KNOCK KNOCK! LOL!
Short term studies have shown that it does alleviate pain, however no long term conclusive studies have been conducted, or at least none that pass a 5% alpha error.

can't hurt. i've met people that said the same thing as you, but i've also met people that said they wouldn't be able to work out without it cause they used to get so much pain in their joints.
