I thinking of picking up a Z8 in a few years. I'm thinking of buying it used and I would like to find a Automatic version. Does anyone know what they go for in the Used market???

Well in a few years, it will be different then now. But you can get a used Z8 now in the area of 90k.

    One ad on DuPont:

BTW - Saw on of those suckers in the OC when I was there a month ago. Beautiful cars!

I have a EVO and a Toyota Echo as a daily ride but I want somthing the is very kind off far out. I found a nice black one for 73K with only 5K on the clock but it's a stick shift and I want a Auto so my wife can injoy it.

Your old Z3 looked pretty pimp. I like the wheels on it also. Why do you consider them a piece of shit? Have you thought of a Z4 3.0i?

If you wait a few years, I bet it will become a little more managable to find a auto Z8 for a decent price.

Well it rattled and the top leaked and just was not up to BMWs quility. I have a few Bimmers and the Z3 was the worst. It was a bit pimp but I was 19 at the time and this was my first brand new car. (and no mom and dad did not buy it for me).

I would suppose the Z4 might have the same issues then.

Z8's were never made by BMW in an auto. I think Alpina modified them with an auto though.
