I tried 5x5 for deadlift for the first time today. v i suck

    i'm on the billstarr/christopher routine for another week. then i'm switching to a 5x3 or something similar routine. reps higher than 3 for deadlifts ftl.

    How about dropping the leg ext and leg press and going for something like front squats and zerchers. Likewise, going to a ghr will be better than that pesky leg curl and will work your calves as well.

    stick with it bro, liking your new found interest in lifting actual weights :p

    I've been doing 5x5 for all heavy exercises for a while now, but DL's are fucking brutal that way. I normally drop to triples and singles after warmup, but I'm trying to stick to the routine now.

    looks like a lot of sets for DLs. I thought the first set was the warmup set. I tried the routine yesterday and almost passed out. Christophers would rip you one for not doing squats and benching on the same day.
