7 days? did you just start? alot of the noobs who have just started come in 5 days a week, then i don't see them ever again in about 1-2 months.

Good for you. :) I'll go through spurts....training like 15-20 days in a row without a break. But every once in a while, take a day off, especially if you "don't really feel like going."

Push yourself through it every single time, and you'll get burned out.

This is something to stress. People think its backing down because youre sore, and tired. Your body is sore and tired for a reson, it has little to do with your mental mindset. If you need rest, get it, it will be more beneficial to your training then training itself.

I do fairly well with metering my tolerance before "burning out". I've had a few whole weekends off, and never "force" myself to go, it's just something that I am now used to looking forward to everyday, and I'm enjoying it, so what the hell.

I do jiu jitsu because I enjoy it, if I didn't enjoy going, I wouldn't go. :mamoru: I just happen to be more motivated than most, and I enjoy "putting in time", so I do.

mentally i could go for 7 days a week, but my body says no. i even had to cut back on heavy lifting since bjj is pretty hard on the body.
