[if you don't have one of these you should]

Shot a little over 200 rounds today. First round at 25 feet. Right in the
middle of the red oval (3"x2"). The rest of the mag pretty much followed
suit, as did the next. Then I got arrogant and the rounds started drifting
    a little.

All in all, it's a great little gun. Went through the 8 round mag in about 2.5
seconds :hsugh: and still grouped well. Then the range officer was scowling, but
he knows I shoot a lot so didn't get mad.

200+ rounds, not a single issue, easy to shoot, accurate, glad I bought mine.

Word to my P6 crew. :wavey:

    I  my 225.

I'd be worried about finding factory magazines for it.

Cheap guns but expensive as hell magazines. A P228 is also virtually the same size even with the double stack.

Still have a love for all Sigs though.

yeah that is a small concern. On the + side, I don't plan on stockpiling a lot
of them since this will be a carry gun...but yeah....I'd like 3 or 4 more.

    I love my P6

I picked up an extra couple mags from topgunsupply.com along with all new springs. Next up is a nice set of sights and it will be good to go. Hell of a gun for the price.

was very impressed with mine. For the $315 out the door price I paid, I don't think a better gun could be found.

I still haven't managed to get mine to the range :( but it feels really nice and cycles nice and smoothly. I can't wait! Sucks there are so few ranges in the area and they have crap hours.... (read: I work crap hours)

I picked mine up yesterday... it's worn to shit, but it felt nice. The trigger pull was long and hard ( :naughty: ), but the single action was pretty smooth.

Easy to field strip and assemble (much easier than my P22).

the ones everybody is talking about ARE from AIM Surplus. They gave a little discount on the price ($247, if I recall correctly), and they helped us save a little on shipping too. Then, City Arms in California helped us with a little discount on the FFL transfer.

If I didn't already have a Sig P228, I'd probably already have one. I still want one, and if I had the funding for it, I'd probably get one. I want a 226 in .40 or a 220 in .45 before another 9mm though.

For anyone that's shot a 228 and 225, how do they shoot differently, or are they pretty similar?

go to city arms, and get a little bottle of oxyphoblue... takes care of 90% of the slide wear in about 10 minutes.

richk sourced his locally. I was tempted to get one, but the six or so they had remaining weren't anywhere near as nice.

Summit gun broker has them too.

    8rd single-stack - difficult to source replacements.

it's a great gun for what it is... I'm not trying to invade China with it or anything, just something to keep around the house for home defense
