You bastard. I waited too long before deciding to try to take pics of it. When I did attempt it, my timing was never fast enough. How are you able to time it right?

    1. You see it
    2. Press button

but by that time, the lightning should be done. Wouldn't the 4 second exposure be 3 seconds longer than necessary?

4 seconds turned out to be perfect. sometimes the really BIG ones were at least 2 seconds long

4 seconds made them a little brighter, which is why i was able to take them on ISO 100 instead of something higher and add more noise into the pics :)

    hair trigger too :)

wait till you see the pics i'll take soon :)

the pics of the moon i took were with ZERO magnification, 1000mm telescope

we got the adapter to use for the scope that allows us to use eyespieces with my camera

    a 5mm eyepiece is 200x magnification!

    200x TIMES 1,000mm scope = 200,000mm !!!!!!!!

imagine how close i'll be!!!!!! i'll take pics of craters which will be HUGE!

my buddy and i are getting together wednesday night to get pics of mars with the scope :big grin:
