She said that my 9mm p99 had more recoil than my 10mm 1076 with medium handloads. :mamoru: The tales of the wrist breaking nature of 10mm are so exaggerated.

STL crew should check out the department of conservation ranges. The rapid fire rule kind of sucks but it seems pretty safe for a public range, plus its $3 to shoot which is hard to beat.

And no pics were taken, maybe next time.

  5. I do believe the recoil thing. It might have to do with the weight of the slide and spring in 10mm guns. I was shooting .40 through my G29 yesterday, and my friend was shooting his department issue G22. I shot his gun and commented that it had significantly more felt recoil than my 29. He tried shooting the 29 and reported the same thing.

Yeah she really needs therapy after such a tramatic experience of feeling less recoil than a 9mm.

I'm saving it for you big boy. Bring your saiga.

I thought that in most parts of STL you could just shoot in the streets :dunno:

I don't know why people thing 10mm is like the big bad wolf. I'd rather shoot that than practice .38 out of my 642.
