    1. tried to kiss her when he was "drunk" she says
    2. invites her to his fraternity's formal and she went
    3. asked her to go see the killers, but she declined

i'm allowed to hate this guy and not give a second thought if he dies, correct? is she allowed to defend his actions?

If she has no interest in him, she needs to tell him she has a boyfriend and to fuck off.

If she does that, and he doesn't back off, then you need to pay him a little visit.

She's encouraging it. It's her responsibility to firmly deny all advances. If she did that then he'd move on.

2 and 3 are OK. Him trying to kiss her does not sound good, but he could have been really drunk and stupid. In any case, she should hang out with him less.

How long has your gf known this guy?Are they very close friends or something?

    Kill him?

Guys can be so dumb. She's the one you should be pissed at. He obviously doesn't respect you because your girlfriend doesn't respect you; therefore, he feels you aren't a threat.

It depends on the circumstances of #2. If she didn't go with him, and just stopped by or something, then maybe. Even then, if she knew this guy was into her, she shouldn't have gone.

This. Threatening this dude is a retarded answer. IT'S YOUR GF THAT IS DOING SHIT. How is it his fault that she is easily lured away to other dudes?

Now, I know a little bit about how fraternities/sororities work(at least at my school) and it could have been possible that it was one of their "inside" functions where outsiders weren't allowed. Is she in a sorority? Because that may be the reason.

    that's not how formals work.

if you're invited to a formal, you're on a date. and unless it's a shitty fraternity, it's gonna be out of town. meaning...fancy dinner, fancy hotel room with a queen+ size bed, etc.

is this what it was like?
regardless of whether it was out of town, people don't 'stop by' formals.

No, not every formal invite is a date. I went to a sorority formal and it was nothing.

But, in this case, seems diff.

    Talk to her ASAP.

    sorority formal != fraternity formal.

sorority girls don't spend the next day bragging about the crazy shit they did in those hotel rooms.

    this.

    and this.

i would say the only good thing was #3. if #1 happened to me i'd be pissed as fuck. #2 is a cockatail for disaster and it would be over (out of town, hotel room, lots of drinking, no doubt this guy wants to get on her, etc.)

Thread starter: you're being a doormat. He has already pulled her away from you if she's doing what you describe. She just hasn't figured out how to get rid of your dumb ass.

no youre not allowed to hate him. your gf controls the situation. she should have said no to the formal. especially knowing that he likes her (tried to kiss her). but, she likes the attention she is getting from him.

IF she tells him to stop asking her on "dates" and he continues to bother her then you're in the right to have a conversation w. the guy.
