striking game improved leaps and bounds from his last fight even though he got ko'd
I think he's dropping back to 145 finally, those guys are so much bigger than him. He eats like a pig every day to get UP to 160 pounds. He's been doing lots of strength and conditioning but his anti-special supplement policy will leave him down there.
he had a huge beard, and I thought it would soften the blow but it didn't
Yeah that shit was nasty
andre winner should have stopped when he ktfo'd him, those last two shots were unnecesary
not hit fault. its a fight and the ref hasn't stop it yet.
he aint no gegard
Winner has some very nice looking leg kicks....
he ruined the chance of a glorious walk off KO.
I think Hell boy owns the rights to that.
with some more work on his boxing and wrestling he could shake things up in WEC
Is rolli delgado the one with the supposedly fake black belt in bjj?
i really wish the ufc would expand with a 145lb div. it could really come in handy now with all these huge names ill or injured.
I tend to agree.
Talented BJJ guy, but I don't think his striking it anywhere near good enough for MMA.
He can take a punch, but his striking is just not powerful enough to make the guys he fights concerned about it. He drops his hands and reaches real far and exposes his chin, and I haven't seen him do shit on the ground in an actual mma fight so I can't comment on that aspect.
Go watch his Paul Kelley fight before gassing and his John Polakowski fight, you'll see his ground work.
he's stick thin, i think a gust of wind could push him over.
Has he ever though of working on getting up to a decent weight for a 6'3 person then finding what weight class to be in?
Wow, that's crazy. I was thinking he needs to go UP in weight, not further down. He looks like a stick.
yeah he should take a year off and put on some real muscle.
he could put on all the muscle he wants, but he's still going to have a small frame, small wrists, etc...
all the guys he's fighting at 155, didnt spend a year or two to bulk up from 145 to become 170lbers. theyre guys that are naturally 170-180 cutting down hard from there to fight at 155.
if he feels bigger and more natural at 145, then im excited to hopefully see him in the wec.
he needs some vitamin S
Plus the ref was on the otherside of the cage
145 if hes at 160 and that thin I think he could even make 135. It sucks for him because his bjj is great and his striking was much better this time around even his foot work was on par. His problem is mainly that he is completely over powered. He can gain the weight I have seen it done but he will be doing as much eating as he does training. His increased activity along with his metabolism is what fucks him up.
I met a guy who was an amature body builder that was in the same boat as him. He told me he his diet and it was pretty good he was eating 8 meas a day 500 calories a meal. If your eating 4000 + calories a day theres no way not to gain weight.
