To give you guys a little background, I work at a GNC (General Nutrition Center), and I get along great with everyone there. We all hang out after work, and are close, but I've noticed my manager seems to be taking laxatives quite a bit, since she is trying to lose some weight. I thought this was kind of a weird thing, but after doing some research, I noticed that this is a more common addiction than I thought.

Basically she told me today when we were out to lunch that she has to have her laxative pills every day or she feels incredibly gross and fat. I kind of gave her the :eek4: look, and said that she might want to be careful. She jokingly said she was addicted to them but I think she was serious. How should I go about mentioning this to her?

You don't. It's not worth getting your superior upset at you for a non-work related thing.

How close are you two? If you are friends, I would say something. If not, I wouldn't.
