I've always had fucking toothpick arms (and i still sorta do), but at least they arent complete hotdogs anymore.. i'm growin' a peak!

PurEvl, watch your back -- i'm gunnin for your 20" arms.

all I do is 3 sets of standing db curls and 3 sets of hammers.. its working better than when i did like 20 sets of bi's :mamoru:

just thought i'd gave the State of the Arms address.

Try doing high volume/short rest...it works very well for arms from my experience...I'm pretty sure Pur and timber both said something similar, where you place most empahsis on the "blood volume".

yeah, that's what i've been doing.. i start now with my heaviest weight for 15 solid reps.. then i drop down 5 lbs and get another 15.. then a final drop set.

i grew a new vein that branches out from the main brachial vein or whatever, so i'm guessing that the increased blood volume is rsponsible.

and i've been working my tri's a little harder, so I'm sure that's responsible for a lot of the growth (of the arm,l in general).

yeah, rope pushdowns.. same kinda scheme as the curls i do.. 12-15 for 2 sets, then drop sets out the ass.. then i rest, then i do another drop set.. usually i cant get my arms above my head to shampoo my hair after i'm done. cg bench with real slow neg's, as well.

"good" is a relative term, but thanks.

I was getting a little fat and I think i've lost a bit of bf% and my weight has stayed the same, so that's a good thing.

i also noticed growth in my arms when i started doing very high volume, minimal rest routine. mine was a giant set of:

close grip barbell curl (10-12 reps)
reg. grip barbell curl (10-12 reps)
    alt. db curls (10-12 reps)
    hammer curls (10-12 reps)

for three sets. i also added weight on the close grip each set, but kept the others the same weight. gives you one hell of a pump.

I've noticed that doin a 5x5 routine has really helped my arms a lot. Gone from 30 max to a ~40max in a few weeks. Got some growth going too :wiggle: No real definition, however. I still have to cut some fat
