ive been using cactus v2 triggers. and im thinking about picking up a pair of pocketwizards to start with then maybe pick up a second one for the other flash. will using pocketwizards let me have faster sync speeds. i didnt have a problem when i used my cactus with my d50 but with my d80 i get a black "curtain" which catches the shutter or mirror. i think this happens at higher then 1/160? i cant recall exactly. which would be the best pocket wizard to consider. i see thats there a few to pick from. im using sb25 and a sb600 also have a vivitar 285 but it doesnt get used much

If you really are concerned about Sync Speed maybe look into the Radio Poppers..

Otherwise unless you need the range of the PW's, look into PCB CyberSyncs

I picked up three PW II when they were on rebate ($25 rebate/each). They're definately worth the money over the poverty wizards.

The rebates were right before they announced the new PW a few months ago. The final price was around $150 iirc.

My 430EX I was horrendous, so I went with PW instead.
