So looking at both the Esprit and Elise what are your opinions? I've always had a soft spot for the Esprit, but the Elise seems like a better bang for the buck sports car.

I want an F355 but fuck paying $100k for a car and having to babysit it with the constant servicing, and I haven't heard "too" many bad things about the Esprit on the upkeep side of things.

    So....comments?

Slightly dated styling, but at the same time, the styling is timeless. Not exactly the most reliable of cars around, but then again, which exotic is? You just have to find a really good mechanic. We rebuilt and engine from one a few months ago, and they're not too bad, but then again, my mechanic rules. :big grin:

The Elise is WAYY better bang for your buck in terms of sportiness. No arguement there. It's your decision, not ours. Get what YOU want to get. 1st thing you should do is go drive both.

I think I liked them better before they rounded off the front bumper and the sides. I always thought the one in Pretty Woman was about as close to perfection as that car got. I'm not feelin the wing either. It's still hot though.
