got into a convo with him regarding politics and gun control. Told him if Hilary is elected, I'm walking down to the gun store that day and purchasing an "assault weapon" purely on a matter of principle.

Honestly, I'm not even sure if he's pro-gun or anti-gun... he certainly didn't seem to agree with any of the anti-gun rhetoric people talk about, and agreed with my take on how gun control is an attack on our enumerated rights and the consequences of that on the society.

So on that note, time to start making a plan for a CA legal AR.

Do it. Especially since you live in SF.

I live in Pacifica, not quite SF. I'm very very tempted to at the very least purchase a stripped lower in the near future.

Stripped lowers are cheap, get on it while you can man.

local gun store has a few for $150ish... quite tempting. Saw some at the gun show a few weeks back for more in the $120 range I believe.

I really shouldn't be spending more money on guns right now, but I'll certainly be keeping an eye on the political atmosphere and will jump on one before I can't

true, but after shipping, and the dealer transfer fee, it's probably about the same.

I'm headed down to the dealer here today to pick up my new toys(10 day wait is FINALLY over)... so I'll be asking them about transfer fee costs.

I like the irony of the thought of hilary going into office making everyone want to run out and purchase evil black rifles.
