    Definitely see a doctor.

Losing your balance like that with the other symptoms is something to be looked into. They will want to check your blood and cholesterol, thyroid, etc. to see if you are getting enough nutrition-wise. That MAY be the problem, but taking tests like those will give them a very good idea.

Embrace taking care of your health and never let it come second.:bigthumb:

Also, is there any other information you can give us? Do you take any drugs or have you had problems with family, friends, etc.? Any stress from those or other things?

I had a lot of your problems for well over a year and my dr's stated that my thyroid was not working and I'm on medications for the rest of my life. Ask the doctor to run blood tests for hyper/hypo glycemia as well as thyroid function tests.

    YES.
I think mood changes are normal for a 17 year old, to a point, but the other things you've mentioned would definitely have me in a doctor's office at that age.

This honestly sounds like Lyme Disease... I had it and when it infects the nervous system. You get what you describe above..

Lose of balance, lack of energy, mood swings, nightmares. Go see a doctor...

Yes that is correct, a diagnose should be made by a specialist however as there are a wide range of possibilities.

'becoming unstable' = not normal, nor healthy, all this stuff you are mentioning isn't how it should be. You could tell the doctor you heard that that comes with lime disease, but that you are unsure of what is going on in your body. Let the doctor do some tests, and if possible and necessary send you to a neurologist. Its better to be safe then sorry.
