I think I am going to go buy a 10/22 and I was just wondering if there is a pistol grip (like ar-15 style) stock for it.... The closest one I have seen has a fixed "folding" stock.

Also, At cabelas the 10/22 is $169, but I didn't think to ask how much the magnum version is. Would anyone happen to have an idea of how much one of those would run?

    Thanks!

You can get the Draganov stock; it is what I have and have had it for, geesh, 10 years now?

As far as the rifle itself, I'm not too sure on prices. It's been a while since I looked for one. All-in-all, I would say the are the best, most versitile .22 for the money. Oh, and if you get one, I'd go ahead and spend the extra $30-$40 bucks and get the stainless model, but that's just me...

Forgot to add that there is also this one availbable:

I agree, go with stainless, a nice composite stock, a nice bull barrel, integral bipod, and a decent scope. I built one when I was in high school. A couple of 25 round clips and you can have some really good, accurate, cheap fun.

Every one who owns a gun must have a 10-22. I wonder what the production numbers are on that model.
I have a rifle version, and just bought a carbine one. Wait until September and then you can buy cheap 50 round mags for them.

I really want a 10/22, but last night i shot a lever action 22, and I really fell in love with it. I dunno now, the lever action is fun, but its a tube magazine, and the 10/22 is much more accurate.

I love my 10/22, I have more invested in it than any other gun I own.

I asked the same thing. I want an ar style stock for my 10/22 and nobody makes one.

You would think they would sell pretty good. Somebody should start making them

BigFive has the 40th anniversary edition for $210. Not sure whats the difference is maybe just that metal plate in the stock?

Anyways thats still pretty expensive. Clean97GTI said he got his for $130 but all around town, they go for $170-180+ :dunno:

I think it was around $350 or so, its a McMillan. The barrel and all the fire control parts are Volquartsen.

Got it yesterday, $289 for the gun and scope (bushnell 3-9x40) I wanted to get a bipod as well but I have never priced them out and didn't realize I was going to pay $65+ for one so I skipped that for the time being. I used the rest of my gift card on a few boxes of .22 ammo and a 30rnd ar15 mag.

About bipods, is Harris still the hot ticket or no? (those were what I was looking at)

I got the stainless back around new years. Still trying to decide which barrel/stock combo to get. I'm kindof waiting to see what they'll offer for it with the new .17 HM2 ammo coming out. ;) Should be interesting.

I plan on buying an intergrally supressed barrel 10/22 within the next year or so, probably after I get my GSR. Talk about movie-gun quiet!

I would have loved to get a stainless model but it was too much money for me at this time :( I hope to get out tomorrow after work and do some shooting.

Mine has a 20" fluted bull barrel, laminated match grade stock, Volquartsen exact edge extractor, bolt buffer, overtravel trigger screw, 2.5 lb. trigger job, extended mag release, bolt release modified to auto release, Kwik Site scope base, Leupold scope rings, Leupold Vari X-II 3-9x40 scope with Butler Creek flip up scope covers.

Not the best pics, but you get the idea.
