I currently have 2003 server running with citrix and terminal services.. we have 25 terminal services licenses

I need to upgrade my 2 NT4.0 boxes to 2000.. what do I need?

    2 2000 upgrades
and 25 2000 cals? Or are the terminal services covering it?

dude, your guess is as good as mine. Microsoft changed their licensing practices a couple years ago, and i haven't followed up with it since. The best thing to do would be to call your M$ rep, and they'll tell you teh best way to go about it.

um im not sure for 2000, but i know for 2003 you can either

    a) 1 licence per computer that connects a server. so if you have 25 pcs, and 3 2003 servers you need 75 licences!

    b) server licence. each server will have its licence. that costs more initially, but if you have 2000 pc's and 5 servers its much cheaper.

best bet is to contact ur m$ rep for some :buttsex:. remember the anal ez ;)
