went for a walk tonight to give street photography a try
85mm @ f/2.2
I like it
this actually speaks much more than those girl ports.
sans sepia filter?
i like it
learn me on why you shot at 2.2 and not 1.8
I think it would've been better if you would have gotten the entire person. Or maybe not so close to the edge of the frame. Other than that, looks good.
my assignment due in a couple weeks is everyday life/street photography... but wish i had a lens with a bit more reach, i dont like the idea of needing to get close since if subjects notice you its not so candid
nope just made it look like this in PP
lenses aren't always super sharp wide open, so if you stop down a bit you get an overall sharper image.
I have another shot similar to what you are talking about, I didn't like it as much. I'll post it up later maybe. thanks
yeah next time I go out I think I'll take the 80-200 because 85 meant I had to get too close
Last night???? And you posted this after 9pm no less...
I pretty much posted it right after I finished editing it.
It was my shot for week 6 of my 52 week project so I had to get it online anyways...

Very shot, love it
don't like the distracting background highlights nor the obstructing bag in the foreground
dude, when are you going to post some pictures
what i don't like is that she/he kind of blends into the background, there is very little color contrast between her/him and what is going on in the background.
My comment had absolutely nothing to do with the picture.
. would have gone wide open to sacrifice some sharpness in favor of creamier bokeh
