Anyway, here is my first gun. Walther P22 Military Target Pistol, 3.4" and 5" barrell, manufactured 2007 (AH) NIB $370 :hsugh:. I bought it saturday after shooting a Glock 17 amd Springfield XD-9. I wanted to start with a smaller caliber since it will be only for range shooting, not SD. I've shot about 500 rounds of CCI mini-mag thru it with no FTL, FTF, or FTE. So far, it's been great. Can't wait to get it back to the range.

Save yourself future headaches and get rid of the 5'' barrel. Great gun otherwise though :bigthumb:

Have the 5" barrel cut down and threaded :naughty:

Was going to ask this. Maybe that's the loophole we need for the future Assault Weapons Ban.

"It's not an assault rifle! It's a military target rifle!"

Good question. I had to ask the dealer myself. Personally, I though the target pistol was threaded for a suppressor. Here is the dealers response:

"Hi. the P22 comes in two barrel lengths 3.4 and 5 inch. The 5 inch is considered the target version."

Anyway, thanks guys for the advice and warm welcome!! :o

I don't think the 5" barrel is going on this thunderstick any time soon
