Yeah! Where? Details? I'm supposed to be trying Zaino sometime soon and since there is no way I am dawn washing anyone's vehicle, I figured I'd use AIO as the base.
Found it at this local auto mart. They had about three left so I grabbed one. And the funny thing is I can't find this stuff ANYWHERE around here.
local auto mart? where in the bay area?
you should of bought all 3 that shits good. i would have bought 2 of them for the price of one cost which is about 30 bucks or so
Why are you using Zaino? Did someone specifically ask for it?
Do you have SSR1? I think that would work as pretty good Zaino prep since it leaves nothing behind.
Plus no shipping! If I were limited to just 1 product I could use for the rest of my life it would be AIO. Of course I've got so many things I don't even have any AIO on the car at the moment.
Someone on Autopia wants to send it to me to try. Probably going to use it on my brother's Honda Odyssey since it is silver. Might as well try it for myself since I will be getting it for free. At least then, if anyone here has any questions or problems with Zaino, I'll have some hands on experience.
i one time tried to use zaino over IHG, No thanks!! I bet it would look nice over AIO
Tell us the truth Scott. You lost a bet, didn't you??
No, I still have my bed. It is right here in my room.
If someone offers me something free to try, I am going to take advantage of the offer.
editing my post to make me look stupid, eh?
Bretfraz says Zaino on silver is terrific. He's been trying to get me to come over to the "dark side" at Zaino for some time.
I would suggest talking to someone who has done it before as I understand from top detailers that it can be tricky to apply.
I can't wait to see your pictures.
Yeah, Bret is pretty hardcore when it comes to Zaino. I have noticed he isn't nearly as extreme as he used to be about it though.
The 'tricky to apply' deal is one of the reasons I haven't used Zaino. Why use a product that can be finicky when there are so many excellent products out there that aren't? True, Zaino is probably twice as durable as carnaubas but if it takes twice as long to apply and remove, you haven' really saved any time. My brother, however, hardly even washes that van, I know it hasn't been waxed since I used NXT on it in late January. The fact that it still beads probably has more to do with it being only a year old rather than NXT being that durable. Most new vehicles will bead for a year or so even without wax. Still, his van is now more than a year old and since he doesn't give the paint much attention beyond an occasional wash, I might as well try something with a reputation of durability on it.
