It was about an hour long. I gotta say. It was awesome. I'm usually only doing MT. I learned different darce(sp?) chokes and how to push out of somebodys guard..It was fun because I got to roll with somebody who is pro and he triangled my ass. I tried to posture up like Rampage did with Arona but he's way bigger than me. A couple of the guys there really made me feel lost when I rolled with them. That's what it's about though right? I did do quite well from all of the armchair expertise I have and allll the UFCs I've watched I actually pay attention to what they do. I side mounted this guy and was a second away from a kimura then we had to stop.

    Anyway,

Hhaha! It seems more like instinct than anything. Like I said, I felt lost most of the time. I just had a lot of fun. I'm not bragging or anything but hey I was proud I didn't do bad at all for never wrestling or doing jiujitsu before.

Well word of advice, don't do anything that involves slamming. You're just going to get your ass whooped, seriously. No one likes the noobie who just goes all out and tries to muscle out of moves, you're just ASKING to get an ass beating so bad that they hope you won't come back.

Just relax, have fun, tap often, leave your ego off the mat.

    .

plus it was your first day. You don't want to be labeled as the douche who slams. We have a guy who spars like it's the finals of the mundials. Total spaz too. Shit sucks but we gotta deal with it. Keep going to class and maybe you'll get that kimura next time

Did you get a boner? It's ok if you did, doesn't automatically make you a gay (but it doesn't help)

Nice man, stick with it. It will make you feel like shit one day and superman the next. Once you catch the bug.. you won't know how you lived without it.

I totally agreee and knew that already. You're there to learn jiujitsu. Not to give concussions. I was just standing up so I could try and take his leverage away.
