I ordered them from Cheaperthandirt.com yesterday, and they were waiting on my desk when I got back from lunch. I'm going to install them tonight, but this is what they look like.

I didn't want to spend a crapload on an Eotech or an ACOG, but I still wanted night capability. These were all of $73.

Link to the Trijicon's? I only found the Ameri-glo ones and when I emailed CTD they said that they were different :dunno:

I'm planning on picking up a set for my AR :o

my god how thick is that front sight. Doesn't look like it would be ideal for precision shooting.

I don't have the rifle here to compare it to, but it is a little thicker. I don't mind giving up some long range accuracy (not what I use the gun for), for night usefulness.

Inside of 300, I'd be ok with it. I have the Ameriglo on mine, and it's only a few hundredths bigger, I'd say.

These took all of about 15 minutes to install. That included the time I had to spend making a few pin-punches out of nails to get my rear sight apart. They glow really bright in the dark, I'm quite pleased with them.

Let us know how they are shooting and ease of adjusting. I would like something like this for mine :big grin:
