I am definitely not knife crew. I'd rather buy a gun for $450. :noes:

Yeah, it's hard to justify handmade prices sometimes... Guns are the same way though I'm guessing :dunno:

Where do you store them? I've got a little kiddo in the house so I'm thinking a safe might be a good idea at some point..

I like Scott Cook and Chris Reeve knives, but cannot afford them. Something more affordable you may like are Swamp Rat knives.

    I'll check them out :)

Looks like they mainly have fixed blades.. I'm looking for a good folder.

Oops, my fault. Take out Swap Rat.

Here are some pictures of a Scott Cook Lochsa, a popular one.

Ooh, I really like that first one. Looks like he's not taking any new orders on it for now... and at $575 it's definitely not cheap. But it's so clean... I'm adding it to my wish list :noes:

Yup, have to find used for now but the rumor is he will start taking orders again soon.

Here is a picture of the Chris Reeve knife opened:

Nice, I really like the finish on the blade. All this looking at knives is making me wish I'd picked something besides ground shipping for my Troodon :o

I can justify a $450 firearm. An expensive knife, not so much. At least not yet.
