    Guys,

I am fairly new to the gym, used to work out than stopped and have restarted 4 months ago. Since i didn't have a routine to start with i decided to fake it till i make it and copied this guy. I want to cut the fat away.

    http://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/26-doug--s-6-day-cutting-routine.html

Other than feeling better and having more energy I do not seem to grow, I gained 5 pounds since i started and am at 205 now.

I look at your sticky routine and doesn't seem that much different to me. Can you guys explain the main differences between them? or what I should change?

5 pounds of lean muscle gain in 4 months is phenominal without the use of aas.

Generally you want to cut volume when "cutting".

    What's the differences?
Pur's is once a week, that routine is twice a week
Pur's has it's own arm/shoulder day, that one is lumped in with other workouts.

Other than that, they both use compounds as the main and accessory movements afterwards. It really won't make a difference which way you go, but a lot of people don't like doing each bodypart 2x/week. Try them both for 7-8 weeks.

In the beginning, you can naturally put on about 8 pounds per year. After 2-3 years it will drop to just 1 or 2 pounds per year unless you include aas. Then after a few years you'll peak again and you'll have to add insulin and gh. You'll peak about 1-2 years after that and will have to use drastic measures to get any bigger than that.

thank you for the serious replys.

I am not saying i gained 5 pounds of muscle weight, for all i know it could be fat, although my diet has no crap in it. There is not much muscle change other than shoulder and biceps. I am size 34 pants want to go down a size at least by late may.
