I was at the mall christmas shopping, and I stopped by Animagic on the way. I asked the guy about Initial D, and they had a whole bunch of it in stock. They had soundtracks, the DVD's, and the Manga books. One guy saw me looking at itm, and he pretty much gave me a crash course in the whole thing real quick. I wound up buying the entire first season, "Stage 1", a three CD set for 49.99, and I just fired it up.

Its look good initially. I like the cars and I like the animation. I thin we have a winner. I'll keep you updated as Im only 5 minutes into it. :bigthumb:

Way to ruin my fun bitch! :madfawk:

Oh well, Im still having fun :big grin:

Edit: Come to think of it, Im not surprised. I did kinda jump into the whole thing a little too fast. I usually do my research before making purchases. Oh well.

Personally, I think Initial D is sofa king cool that it's worth paying whatever people charge for it. :o

Sorry to hear you got kinda ripped off, though, seeing as how HK DVDs are a lot cheaper. I got gypped the same way, too, but I don't care. :big grin:

The HK rip offs aren't that bad. The boxes are pretty nice and stuff. I bought the 1st, 2nd, 3rd stage for like $60.
$60 for 7 DVD's aint bad. The quality is still good. A lot better than buying the US Tokyopop gay version.

yup, taker. I did get the watch. I can get more :)

And yup, vtec. I can hook you up

and that's depends, camcam. If you go to HK and pick them up at a store there. Then yes. But if buy from someone over there, you should think about it. $65 is not enough to cover the cost.

I saw an AE86 at kragen the other day! I just about peed my pants. It was imported from japan and even had a front jap plate! I was going to wait to talk to the owner but he would probably thinkl I was a freak and drift all over my face, haha.I have an old '81 celica hanging around that I'm going to paint like the AE86. It sort of looks like it. Its rwd and light so it should make a decent drifter.

mad spanish people drive corolla gts here.......most are the coupe version.....the hatchback is alittle rare, but if im not mistaken the coupe's lighter anyway :dunno:

dont really see a reason for importing from japan tho

This wasnt a corolla it was the ae86 trueno from japan. It had japanese wheels and plates n stuff. you could tell it was a trueno cause it had the 16 valve yadda yadda in black letters on the side

I might be interested in any cool TRD stuff you can get - watches, keychains, shirts, etc.
