I'm surprised they let you have an aimpoint in CA. It does let you aim :noes:

I'm glad I decided on an AK instead of an AR. Got my AK, 4 magazines, 1080 rounds for like $442 and I have a fun rifle for the range/HD/SHTF. For $442 I could get a complete upper, butt stock, and maybe a LPK. :hs:

Shit that's probably next on the ballot. I'm new to AR's but my buddy knows them inside and out. This is what he recommended if I have the money.

Yeah but what kind of groups are you shooting at 200yards? I think a barn might be safe :noes:

I do want to get an AK eventually, I'll probably need to have it by 2009-2010ish or never though.

The range I go to only has up to 100, and realistically I'll never have to shoot past 100. I bought the AK with the intention of shooting center mass at 100yards with irons. I was shooting 2-3" at 50 so I think I'm safe. :noes:

Thanks guys, I was debating on this one or the 16" model. I'll probably end up buying/building a longer one in the next year or so. I'm not rich by any means but $2-3K really isn't going to put me in any kind of debt or money trouble so I figure I'll just get what I want now.

Wow... that's one of the best looking ARs I've seen.

So clean, so simple, but so damn pretty.

And so damn expensive. :eek3: :wtc:

look? jesus, they are handmade barrels...the heart of the ar-15

there are 100 reasons why noveske makes better rifles than your run of the mill bushmaster or other

    and you mention looks?

IMO that is an ugly rifle, but I appreciate it for what it is worth

I have witnessed an Alabama redneck out of the 82nd with a Bulgy AK74 outshoot an A Team from 3/3 with M4s at the 300m range.
