I try to sleep on my back or stomach, but always end up on my sides, fucking my shoulder. Any tips other than just claming myself to the mattress?

if you find out a way, let me know

I've been trying for about 6-8 months now, and even if I do fall asleep on my back I still wake up on my side

yeah I have that problem except for me it's with one arm tucked under the pillow. it's hard to get out of the habit of sleeping in a position you find comfortable.

Get a neck pillow and another pillow to go under your knees, could also have a really worn out bed. And also never sleep on your stomach

Same thing happened to me. I've always slept on my side. My solution was to get a bigger pillow - as in fluffier, or more full. With a thinner pillow, my shoulder gets squished/cramped between me and the bed and I always wake up sore.

Like Lancer said, a pillow between your knees works great for back/leg probelms.

the bed in my dorm sinks like a foot in the center if you put a 20 lb weight on it, so i pile shit in the center every night before i go to bed so it forces me to sleep against the wall.

If I don't do that, I can't extend my left leg completely when walking without copious amounts of pain.

Also do you sleep with your neck kinda slanted up? If you do that will ussually cause you to turn on your side

You need to address the underlying cause of the pain instead of just trying to avoid it....pain is an indication that something is not right, such as muscular imbalances for instance.

I'm sleeping on it in a fucked up position. It doesn't seem to occur at times correlated to exercising different muscle groups. I always sleep on my right side, and my arm goes numb. During the day I have a pain that is like half way through my upper arm, and goes up to the center of my delt. It sucks btw.

    What else should I consider?
