    I need some help.

I have a wireless card in a downstairs computer using windows xp. The wireless card is connected to the wireless router and the internet is shared on both computers on the network.

My problem is that I don't know how to setup a network for filesharing between both computers.

I tried creating a home office network but it doesn't work. I forgot which error I got but I couldn't seem to make it work. Does anyone have any tips?

Now I'm getting a problem where one computer will allow access to another but the other computer has to have a user/pass for the other computer on the network.

    Any ideas?

Other computer doesn't require user/pass to logon to windows.

im guessing one computer isnt xp? is the other is win98. create a user on the xp machine with the exact user/pass as the one on the win98 machine.

enable file printer sharing on both machines, make sure they are both in the same workgroup.
