I love that gun. I really need to get one. Going on gunbroker for $450ish + shipping + ffl. Not bad.... $500 for a new glock 19 with 2 hi cap mags

Check locally, I got a new one for $450 + tax for the compensated model, included 3 15 round mags.

Sounds decent to me. I usually pay $500 OTD locally for my glocks.

If I ever went back to Glock, the 19 is what I would get. No doubt about it.
I loved my 17, but it was just a little too big for me, the 19 does everything. It's the perfect size.

i can fire the 19 at a pretty decent speed with decent accuracy.

i just bought the xd 45 compact, and christ that's a bitch to control. i'm trying to get really good with it, but it's not the easiest

I was looking at the Glock 26. A little too compact for me

I'm not a fan of XDs to begin with, but a 45 seems a bit much for what I've experienced out of shooting friends' 9mm and 40 XDs.
I loved how accurate and easy to handle my G17 was, and it was reliable as hell. But it just never felt "right", the angle just didn't work for me, and not being able to change out grips to fit my needs was really a minus. Plus it was very difficult to CCW.

There are just so many better options and new technology out there, and Glock just refuses to give in. They're being hard-headed in my opinion.
If they were to ever offer a more personizable gun, like customizable grips and whatnot, I'd go back in a flash. That grip angle needs to go too. Get with the times.

The Glock 17 doesn't fit well in my hand. Add a little sweat and it's even more difficult to grip. I did like the XD-9, that is a nice gun to hold compared to the 17

I can fire my G19 rapid fire w/out even really getting off target. I'm a big guy, and the recoil isn't enough to even move my hand... I was shooting my buddies 45 the other day, and was a little less accurate, and definitely couldn't get back on target as quickly after each shot fired...

Well that's 45 in general. Although some manufacturers do a better job of reducing recoil than others.

Glock 19 carves up my hand like a motherfucker. I have an XD9SC and admit it can be a little snappy, but I'm accurate with it so I deal. I would like to get a 1911 or something instead though.
