I need to build and then cut! pics...

    Hey guys.. Right now I go to the gym about 3-4 days a week.. eat about 3-3500 cals a day with the help of a 600 cal weight gainer which I take 30mins before sleep and after workout.
    I get about 150+grams of protein a day and drink about 4 16oz of water

    I dont have the best sleeping habit and tend to sleep more then 8 hrs a night and never wake up early which I think is bad????

    I weigh about 183 right now..I weighed 173 about a month ago which was my all time low...Last Jan I wieghed in at 204 and it was mostly fat lol.. thats when i focused on cutting and working out..but i had many months of on and off weight training without constant training.

    I lost the wieght mostly from jogging and lifting.

    I want to gain some muscle mass mostly my arms and then cut to around 170 or more if i can gain more muscle..I want to cut and get rid of my gut beucase no matter WHAT i do i have always had my gut.

    let me know anything that will help with gaining and then cutting thanks guys!!

    *try to eat more real food rather than getting 1200 cals just from a mass gainer, you're getting less than 2000 cals from food on certain days
    *plenty of sleep is great for someone who works out

    you should really look into the sticky's and archive for answers on how to bulk and cut

    you are skinnyfat... clean bulk to add LBM. reach a good level and cut the bodyfat off. Eat more protein, eat more whole foods.

    Read NoQuarter's thread at the top of the forum. You situation is the same as any other 180lb skinnyfat dude. You are new to the game and will make great strides in progress if you get your shit together.

    do yourself a favor and read the BBer thread, the noob sticky, and the archives. you won't really have any questions after doing that.

    And take things at face value when reading them, do not try to read to much in to the lifting/diet plan. It's all very simple just do what it says.

    I'd say he's just skinny rather than skinny fat.

    Anyways, you should bulk slowly, lift heavy weights and get more sleep. Add the muscle first and THEN cut to reveal it. If you cut when you have little muscle, you wont have much to show for it.

    I've been getting 1200 calories a day for the past 4 months from weight gainer and I've had 0 problems and I've been growing so I really do not see what the problem is. Weight gainer is a product used to help build muscle/ gain weight is it not? :ugh:

    i take cytogainer and on the label it says its super low on sugar so i dunno chris :dunno:

    I like cytogainer because its high calorie, high protein, high carb, has creatine, glutamine and tons of other shit in it. Its like the ultimate all in one package for me and that with a glass or two of milk fills me up for 3 hours until the next meal

    I dont think so; I've been doing the same routine for a little under a year and have increased strength, albeit slowly... :noes:
