I don't care that everyone says they're played out, I am a huge Diesel fan. I have 3 pairs... www.zappos.com

Also, Steve Maddens are good casual shoes.

Airwalks have been my beater sneaks for about 3 years now. they're the most comfortable for me and the relatively plain styling suits me.

okay, so I have a crazy love of shoes, and especially those shoes that are bold and lil worn in the community (keeps me different). That said, I luv a good pair of lugz, sketchers, FUBU, or any other shoe that uses wonderful blends of color and style.

Not really metro, but since this thread is already talking about shoes, what are some good casual/sneaker type shoes out there, preferably something less bulky? It would be nice if they weren't the "oh, they look nice, but you can't walk in them for long, because your feet will hurt." I've seen some nice pairs of addidas shoes that look great with both jeans and shorts, but I don't know what they're called and I can't really pinpoint them out of all the ones on their site. The Diesels above are nice, but they're too dressy and don't work with shorts (which is a big big thing, since summer is coming up, and my current shoes are almost torn to shreds). The kind of shoes I have in mind aren't really retro, per se, but more simple and straight to the point.... If that even makes sense.

    Any ideas/suggestions?

Edit: Forgot to mention that I like shoes similar to the Puma H-Street series (though I've read that they're not very durable/comfortable for extended periods of wear).

I think you'd like Steve Madden... semi-retro/simple designs... I like them. Some Pumas are nice also.

:bigthumb: I still have a set I have had for about four years. They dont look too good anymore, but they are still quite comfortable.
