Something i've been wanting to do, but never gotten around to do it (lack of time), is a program to monitor all my connections by IP, and the packets sent/received and the amount of bandwidth used per IP. Then publish it all nicely in a spreadsheet using charts showing by IP/location/country/etc. Be able to select ranges/times and view the incomming/outgoing traffic.

A small little app that sits in the background (TSR) would be easy enough to do. Probably no bigger then 250kb.

What kinds of programs are you into? Think of a program you think would be better if it were done in a different light and go from there. A big mistake would be to start something you have no interest in using yourself.

Ugh, I had to do something like that for my C++ course at my old college. Dealing with multi-column arrays suck! But it's sweet victory when it's finally done.:) My problem with my projects is that I have 'House of Cards Syndrome'. It's where once you've completed all your hard work, you delete the files.:big grin: I don't know why! I just think, "Ahhh, finally it's done...now to delete it." I have to shake that habit before I get into the workforce, LOL!
