i need some good foods

    alright, its that time of year again.. i usually work out during the warm months, then get fat during winter.. its a cycle with me

    i basically want to begin just by changing my diet, i eat way too many shitty foods, like pizza, pizza rolls, those microwave dinners, etc.

    yes, i did read the stickies, but i didnt really find what i was looking for

    as of right now, im not looking for foods to help me build muscle, etc. i just want some things that are good for me, and can help me stop eating shit with 100% fat

    any comments on what i should start eating?

    i think this thread will get crapped in, so let me explain, i know the stickies say instead of pizza, eat skinless chicken, etc. then it tells you to do all of these calculations, i dont really care about the calculations,i dont care what my bodyfat is, i just want some good foods that i can eat :bigthumb:

    You don't need to do calculations, just eat better.

    Your diet should be high protein, moderate carb.

    The carbs should be from good sources, whole grains and the like.

    Protein should be lean.

    Eat lots of veggies.

    When you look at your plate, 3/4 of it should be protein.


    See the stickies for examples or good carbs and lean proteins.

    no, i can do that, but a simple list of shit to eat would be nice.

    if it were up to me, i would get a shitload of apples and chicken and tunafish.. but im not sure if that is what i really need

    cool awesome, im glad you understood what i was trying to say instead of "help me lose 50 pounds and look like a bodybuilder"

    meal 1
    6 eggwhites 2 yolks
    3/4 cup oatmeal water or 1% milk
    one scoop whey protein
    meal2
    can of tuna
    1/2 cup rice
    light italian dressing(olive oil)
    meal 3
    6-8oz chicken
    5oz sweet potato
    1/2 cup green beans
    1 tbsp peanut butter
    meal 4
    1 can of tuna
    1/2 cup rice
    light italian (olive oil)
    meal 5
    2 scoops whey, 1 gatorade
    meal 6
    6-8oz sirloin or steak
    large dinner salad with red wine vinegar/olive oil

    pur's "bodybuilding" diet is a good idea of what you should be eating. Doesnt have to be exact of course, just modify it to your own lifestyle/goals.

    I want to know how the fuck people don't know what foods are good for you and what foods are bad for you.

    I mean people know that pizza is shit food if your trying to lose weight and eat healthier. Boneless skinless chicken breast with carrots and broccoli is good for you if your trying to be cautious about your weight.


    It's pretty simple if you ask me, but some people here make shit really complicated.

    :rofl: theres no way in hell i could eat all of that in one day

    cuz ppl hear all of these things like eggs are bad for you, they make you fat, eggs are good for you, tunafish will give you mercury poisoning, dont eat foods with high carbs

    i mean yeah, i know an apple will be more healthy than a pizza

    Eggs are good for you and tuna is only an issue if you are a pregnant woman or devloping child.
