I'm 5'9", 275lbs and I can't take it anymore. It's gotten to the point where I have to do something about it and it has to be now. I know I need to cut out certain foods which I think I can do but my main need is exercise. For the past 4 years (after my ex-girlfriend went into the Navy ) I've really let myself go and haven't exercised at all. I know I need cardio to burn the fat but is there anything else I can/need to do? Today or tomorrow I plan on joining the local gym which is 2 minutes from my house and just start running laps everyday. Is that a good start? I don't have a goal to be big and muscular. I just want to lose the fat first. Any advice would be appreciated.
