I'm looking to set up a large plasma display at work that will display various content, such as alerts, a stock ticker, weather info pulled from online, the current time, news headlines or RSS feeds, etc. It is to replace a bulletin board that is currently being used. Anyone know of a software that would allow me to set up this content to display fullscreen, noninteractively, but be easy to update the content? Ideally I'd like something that gives me full control of the layout as well as the ability to switch between different layouts at time intervals.

IE and a webserver. Put IE in full screen mode to hide the controls.

:werd: F11 drops you in full-screen mode, and HTML is EASY to maintain.

Needs to be easier than HTML (especially since it would take some advanced HTML and Flash design to display what I'd like) for the user I have in mind to update this. But I think I've found a few different digital signage solutions that will do the trick.
