I've been looking for shoes for awhile now and I really havent seen much that I liked so I was hoping OT Style Lab Crew could help out some. Im looking for some shoes that I can pretty much wear with anything. (Shorts&Jeans).

These would be for just everyday going to class/hanging out/whatever type shoes. I generally wear American Eagle type clothing if that gives you an idea of my style. I'm looking to spend no more than $80 as well. What can you recommend me? Thanks :x:

get a pair of pumas, they look similar but last longer than AE brand stuff. also adidas, the stan smiths or the sambas, those are kinda euro looking but pretty popular.

my old standby and still alltime favorite shoe is the vans classic lace-up, or the slipon if you prefer. both look good with anything and in your price range, you can get 2 different colors.

I looked at some pumas and a few caught my eye. But im still considering those shoes I posted but Im not sure how they would look with khaki shorts

I used to love K-swiss. Now I'm really into Puma and Adidas. For what you want, I say go with Puma Romas.

I have white k-swiss's now and to me they just seem to work with my jeans very well. Might just be me though as Im always second guessing my fashion sense.

Funny you should mention Puma Romas I was just looking at them on Zappos. My only problem is that pumas are usually narrow aren't they? Same with addias?

Yeah they're kind of narrow but I have girl feet so it doesn't matter but the Romas are a little wider on my feet that the rest of the Pumas. Zappos also is great about returns/exchanges so its worth trying them out or if you have a DSW around you they almost always have Romas you could try on.

Yeah, Steve Madden's are nice, and they are very well made. I've always been a fan of Adidas, as well. Tough as a brick, and stylish, too. :)

Pumas are cool, but they're all pretty much the same, and they won't last you as long as some SM's or Adidas.
