Im going to get a knife for Christmas and im not surewhat to get. What do you think?
oh and it cant be more than $110
In that price range, you can find plenty of Benchmade, Spyderco, Kershaw, CRKT, or Cold Steel knives.
Check out http://www.newgraham.com/ or http://www.1sks.com/ for good prices and selection.
yep, you can find a great deal of very high quality knives under that price.
I carry a Kershaw Vapor II that I picked up at WalMart for 24 bucks and was what I carried on duty.
Can't lose with a Benchmade. Excellent knives. I carry a mini AFCK and plan on getting a stryker or osborne series soon.
Anyone have any experience or opinions on the SOG Flash II?
I have the SOG Flash I. Nice little knife. I bought it for a compact knive to fit in my pocket easier then my CRKT M16-14SF. I don't think you could go wrong with it.
i hate plastic handles on folders. they will eventually split where they're molded together, rendering the knife unsafe. i'd own a SOG flash or flash II if it weren't for that. i own a kershaw blackout. plastic handle. i don't carry it because it split. what'll happen one day is you'll twist the blade, or drop something on the knife, or whatever, and the seam will split where the two plastic sections are held together.
benchmade and most kershaws are what i'd go with. my everyday carrier is a kershaw avalanche.
The SOG Flash I & II come with either Zytel or Aluminum handles.
do any of you have the tomcat II? It looks like a good knife. is it?
The aluminum handle ones are very nice. Can't speak for the zytel handles.
CRKT M16 line.
G10 + S30V + Compression Lock + Spyderco = Win x 4
I <3 my Kershaw. (Which, btw I purchased at Walmart as well)
you cant go wrong with a ken onion kershaw..
