I need to do something new. If I go out taking pictures, I usually end up somewhere with some nature or I'll go downtown, but I never end up with anything too interesting.

It might be fun to start taking pictures of people, etc. But, I don't have the equipment, knowledge of lighting, a studio, or the people to photograph.

But I'm not going to get all that any time soon. So I'm stuck trying to figure out what would be good to point my camera at.

Anybody have any suggestions on something to try?

well its fall so leaves changing color

and you don't need shit to photograph people, natural light or window light ftw. start with people you know, they're more forgiving if it takes you a while to get it right or fuss around.

Personally I always like the zoo :o

Well, I know you don't need stuff to photograph people. But that would be quite the learning experience for me to use more than available light.

Fall is not exactly the most beautiful season in Austin, the leaves mostly just die. The zoo sucks too.

I think event photography might be fun for me. Perhaps I should look into that.
