Okay, my new computer has Windows XP Pro on it as well Windows Media Player 10. Everytime I open a video file on my computer, it automatically goes to full screen, plays once, and then just totally locks up the computer and I can't do anything except reboot using the button on the front of the pc tower. When a video file opens in full screen, even though it plays no buttons at all on my keyboard or mouse respond, i've hit control alt delete, control enter, alt 1, alt 2, alt 3, alt tab, and tons of other stuff and nothing responds. Once a video file is opened, my PC is as good as locked up. I have played around with the video settings in WMP and nothing has worked to fix this problem, not even the options in view>videosize in WMP.

    What can I do?

    Please help me.

    Thanks

First, a dumb question, have you tried alt + enter? That's the combo to exit full screen. If that won't worth, I would totally remove WMP10 then try a fresh install.
