my machine is all screwed up. i asked the IT guy here if he did anything with my machine over the weekend. he said no. i think he did.

i looked into my recycle bin, and checked the norton protected files bin. (norton unerase)

their were files in there dating 1/25/03, which is the weekend. does that mean someone had to have been in my machine? or can something run while the computer is shut off!!! (highly doubt)

i took screenshots of the files in norton unerase but have no idea what they are. can someone help me? i can emial it to them in word format.
    my email is [email protected]

    thanks

plesae help me. i lost all my files.

Anything's possible. There were a few updates performed. I can't say what caused it. Go to your IT guy again and ask him why it says stuff was deleted on the 25th (just don't mention the screenshots). If he denies doing anything, go to someone above him.

Just skip him and go to his superior. Let him know that your computer doesn't work, that you attempted to get help, and he denied using your machine and didn't show any type of enthusiasm to assist you in getting your machine up and running.
