I can never get a straight answer on this, so I am hoping you wise people here at OffTopic can help me out.

I am 6'0, 192 pounds. I work out 4 days a week and have been for a few months, and have developed a lot of muscle. My problem is that covering all the muscle is a layer of chub.

I think my problem is a mix of eating and not knowing what cardio to do.

Here is my diet right now:
    ________________________________________________________________
7:30am - Protein shake (About 150 calories) and half a can of fruit (fruit cocktail usually) (shake with 1 - 1 1/2 cups of skim milk)

11:10am - A small salad with barely any dressing and half a cup of fruit.

3:15pm - Egg white omlette (4 egg whites), mixed with half of a cutup chicken breast, and a small slice of green pepper. A small amount of cottage cheese.

7pm - Lean meat or a full chicken breast, usually a cup of steamed broccoli or some other vegetable, and the second half of that can of fruit from breakfast.

11pm - Protein shake, Glutamine, 1 small can of tuna with a small amount of mayonaise mixed.

    _________________________________________________________________

That is my diet, and I want to cut. Not bulk.

My cardio is usually about running at 6mph on a treadmill for 20 minutes, which comes up to about 2 miles. I do this about 3 times a week.

To be honest, other than exercising, I really don't get any other physical activities except for walking up and down the stairs at school.

What do I need to chance? This includes tips on my diet, and on my cardio schedule. Help!

Start to eat at 11-12x your body weight in calories. See how much weight you drop in a 2 week period. If it's >2lbs per week, up your calories a bit and see what happens in the next 2 weeks.

That has pretty much been my Bible. My problem I think is knowing whether or not my diet equals up to about 2100 calories a day. Do you think it is close?

Then WHY SOOOO MUCH protein? It seems to me that you’re consuming ALOT of grams of protein for a person who is not bulking.

Add a lot more Fruit and Veggies. You could possibly fit them in the morning and at 7. Try celery, green beans, more broccoli, bananas, oranges, grapes, and/or soy beans (but it seems to me that you have ENOUGH protein).

See what you think about this:

    ________________________________________________________________

7:30am – 2 egg whites (prepared however), banana, a cup of another fruit, a cup of oatmeal, and a small glass of milk (and/or) juice.

11:10am – small salad, broccoli, large carrot, celery, with water or V8.

3:15pm – half of a chicken breast (or a can of tuna), can of green beans (or more veggies seen in 11:10am meal)(fruits can also be added to this meal if wanted)

7pm – half of a chicken breast (or a can of tuna), small salad, tall glass of milk

11pm - Protein shake, Glutamine, BED

Okay, so now I know I am getting too much protein to be bulking. However, I could still use some good tips on a perfect cardio plan (nothing but running for the moment).

OK, I finally got some pictures. Bear with me because I can't find my digital camera, so i'm using my webcam I bought 6 years ago.
