    Someone made a post a while ago about wanting to use a "customer appreciation account" or something along those lines. I need some cards made and a logo designed. There are massive amounts money involved to whoever wants to help. And by massive I mean the same amount of $$$$ which will buy you a case of beer and my undying love and appreciation.

    Actually if someone could confirm for me what font is being used on my website I could design my own. The hosting company calls it "basic" but I have nearly a hundred fonts on my computer and "basic" isn't one of them.

    my site: www.jcolman.com

    edit: fixed my url

    for god's sake please disable your website from maximizing my browser size. that is the most obnoxious thing and i automatically leave any website that does that.

    Don't use a popup at all, since the primary information is in the flash site anyway.

    edit your index.php (or .html or whatever your index file is) to remove:
    Code:
    <a href="#" onClick="javascript:popup('index2.php?v=v1', '1')">
    and replace with
    Code:
    <a href="index2.php?v=v1">
    :madfawk: resizing popups.

    your font is Futura. there are several different varieties and weights of Futura, but that's the font, for sure. on the site, it is heavily kerned (meaning, the space between the letters has been decreased)

    awesome font - one of my favorites. if you don't have it on your computer, try to see of Mr. Torrence offers it. otherwise, it's worth buying, IMO

    I hope you do not know this by simply looking at his font. Cause if you did, I think you are the first person I have ever met who can pick out fonts. I barely know ariel and TNR

    People who work in publishing, typesetting, and design tend to know their fonts pretty well.

    bingo. I do lots of page design (newspaper, magazine) and typography work

    I fucking love Futura. It comes in a variety of weights and has a condensed version, too. It's a little spaced out by default, but if you kern the letters a bit, it's a really simple yet beautiful typface

    Anyone who knows grpahic design and typography should be able to spot a font.

    Yep. I used to be big into graphic design and could pick out fonts. I'm not so good at it anymore since I don't look at them all the time though

    Hey Jcolman!

    I can whip you up a small design and get you 1,000 cards (16pt stock, double sided color, UV coated, normal/rounded corners) for $50!

    If you'd like to throw a few bucks in for the design portion that would be SUPER but not required!

    let me know .. :)
