For those that dont know I had gastric bypass surgery 2.2 years ago and have lost 150 pounds. Yes I have extra skin but what really bothers me is the extra skin on my inner thighs. I need a some suggestions for really either building the muscle there or something to tighten the skin up.

I heard that those machines that you sit in like a doctors office set of stirups dont really do shit.

    Thanks guys.

I know that but also building muscle helps the skin tighten up.

Squats...they'll add muscle mass to your legs and help "tighten" them up. Try hip abductors/adductors too (can't remember which is which, but the one where you close your legs against resistance).

Its not huge or hanging, I just hate how they touch, its uncomfortable.

Sucks, I would have to pay out of pocket for the surgery since insurance doest not cover it.

Are you sure squats are out of the question? Go to a good sports orthopedist and ask. I had two knee surgeries and have reduced cartiledge in one knee, but I do squats no problem. I was scared of them for a while, too, but in the end they strengthened my legs and made my knees feel better.

But yeah, if you get your quads and hamstrings to grow bigger, then you should be able to use up some of that extra skin...

And you think that building muscle there will make them touch less?
