Ok, well I dont, but my friend does.

she doesn't go to the gym so no luck there, she goes to yoga :mamoru: ($160 a month for it :wtf: ) anyway.. she bought a 35 dollar one at target and it gave her three different weights within 10 minutes.

soo... what's a good, proven-accurate scale for not too much money, she would prefer a digital read out.

    :dunno:

    human triple beam ftw

I have a cheap one from target too and it gives me fairly accurate weights... I've tested it by weighing myself and then going directly to the gym and weighing myself pre-workout and it's nearly identical give or take the weight of clothing difference, water consumed on the way there, etc.

picked one up at walmart for like 40 bucks, digital and accurate as hell. Matched it up to the meet weigh-in scale and they were both the same, meet scale is like 500 bucks

i second the Tanita reccomendation... I've got a cheaper model and its been really good. Its been very close to the scales at meets I've been to that are calibrated fairly often.
